I left my Airbnb at 5:00am, drove one hour to the Lake Louise Ski Resort, and boarded my reserved 6:30am shuttle to Moraine Lake. You’re no longer allowed to drive to this particular lake.

I hiked a 1 km trail called Rockpiles. There are spots along the top to take photos of the stunning lake!

I then took the lake connector shuttle to Lake Louise. I’ll post that tomorrow.
Looks amazing, we’re due to visit the park next April staying at Lake O’Hara, can’t wait after seeing your lovely pictures

I haven’t been there since long before the driving restrictions. It’s lovely to see it again.

I think it’s a good thing people aren’t allowed to drive to that lake – keeps the surrounding environment as clean as possible.
