Saturday evening I went with a friend to Larimer Square in downtown Denver. We walked around a bit and then had dinner at Osteria Marco. I enjoyed sitting outside and the Italian food was yummy.
Sunday I went on a solo 3.5 mile hike in the Betasso Preserve near Boulder.
Monday I went for a bike ride with a friend around Boulder.
He took me past a mushroom shaped home. There are lots of cool houses in Boulder.
Yesterday I went on a solo hike at Walker Ranch, it’s somewhat near Boulder. I was the first one there at 7:30 a.m. The hike was 3.5 miles with a 636 ft. Elevation gain. I really enjoyed hiking along the river, listening to the rushing water.
On the way back, I stopped at a scenic overlook, isn’t this pretty?
Last night I attended a wine tasting in Old Town Arvada. It was nice, but I get restless if I’m at a place like that for more than a couple of hours. I don’t drink as much as I did when I lived back at home in the greater Cincinnati area. I get a buzz from the outdoors here. 😎 There’s one lady I met that I like. This is us below…
I’m going on a big hike tomorrow. I’m trying to do as much as I can now while the weather is still good. I do plan on getting out this winter and will attempt snowshoeing.

Colorado is a beautiful state. I’ve been there many times, on business, on vacation in summer and in winter to ski, but I’ve never lived there. Your photos are great and it was fun to look at them.

I lived there for 10 years back when Dynasty and Dallas were big shows. We used to have cowboy watching parties.

They still have the South Fork Ranch. I should say I am originally from Sweden and came to Dallas in the fall of 2000.
