Mosque-Cathedral Monumental Site of Córdoba and other highlights

Today, I walked about 4.5 miles exploring Cordoba. My first stop was the Mosque-Cathedral Monumental Site of Córdoba. It’s larger than I expected, and very beautiful!

I also stopped in the Museo Julio Romero de Torres and the Museum of Fine Arts of Cordoba. Neither was large, but they are worth a visit. I like the man’s face in this painting.

The courtyard of the Fine Arts Museum is lovely.

There are loads of bitter orange trees planted around Cordoba.

It was fun wandering through the cobblestone streets and discovering pretty flowers. It’s been rainy here, but there were periods without rain during my walk, a nice respite.

My spirits have been a little low since I arrived, I think partially due to the rain and recovering from jet lag. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to stay busy enough for the month of my stay.

  1. Córdoba is definitely on my list!
Even with the rain in looks so beautiful!
I hope that you can shake your blues and enjoy yourself.❤️

The apartment looks amazing, well, except for the bathroom ceiling.😩

Fingers crossed for a quick fix!
