Yesterday, I checked out an amazing scenic overlook called Jump Off Rock in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

From there I drove to Brevard and walked on Main Street. Brevard is charming and has a really nice vibe. The 2.5 hour drive was on country roads, passing ponds, streams, rivers, and lakes. I really enjoy seeing all of the well maintained homes/farms. Breathing in the fresh green country air and feeling the wind through the open windows was relaxing.

From Brevard, it was a 40 minute drive to have lunch at the Pisgah Inn, located on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I stopped at a few of the overlooks along the Parkway, but I’m looking forward to the views in Autumn.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Looks like you’ve found a beautiful place to call home, dear Sherry. I’ve seen the Blue Ridge Parkway in autumn, and it’s second to none, stunning ~ soooo much beauty! Sending good vibes and a kiss your way, my friend, on this special day. ☀️❤️🏠
