This week’s activities were pretty much on par with the usual. I went for a 6 mile hike with my Sunday group. Situated on the edge of a mountain with a beautiful view to the left for most of the hike, the scenery helped to be present.

I usually ride my bike once or twice a week. This week, I rode from my place in Hendersonville to Jackson Park and then along the Oklawaha trail to Patton Park. It was relaxing and lovely!

My hair is growing out, yay! I snapped a selfie before meeting a group at a winery called Point Lookout Vineyards. The views were outstanding!

I played Mahjong for the second time. I’m starting to get the hang of it. Yesterday, I attended a meeting about becoming a mentor to teenagers and signed up. Last night, I played cornhole with a group. I haven’t played for at least 5 or 6 years. The partner I was paired with and I won three games. This evening I’m supposed to go to another get together. I think it’s mostly couples, but that’s okay. I still feel an emptiness since my family passed. I’m trying to do everything I can to help myself.
Hope you have a great weekend!
So beautiful, dear Sherry! Surrounded by such marvelous scenery with stellar views, I know you’ll be happy calling North Carolina home. Take good care and enjoy a wonderful weekend.
