Hello Asheville and Hendersonville!

After a grueling 5-day cross-country trip (with two days of torrential rain), I finally arrived at my Asheville Airbnb. I only have this one until the 14th, so I’ve been busy researching places to live.  I found one in Hendersonville, which is only a half an hour from Asheville. I think I will prefer living there because it’s not as crowded. I visited a few years ago and liked it and yesterday I went again to take a look. It was early in the morning, that’s why you don’t see many people.

I also visited a beautiful botanical garden called Bullington Gardens in Hendersonville…

Before leaving Kanab, I had Mohs surgery  on a small freckle that was basal cell carcinoma. It’s an inch long incision and I was due to have the stitches out yesterday.  I went to an urgent care and the older man that took them out with a small and sharp pair of scissors had very shaky hands 🫪. I mentioned my concern to him and he didn’t say anything in return, other than remarking how tiny the stitches were. I said “please don’t make it bleed”, and he assured me he wouldn’t, but then it.

I'd love to hear what you have to say
