It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted. I’ve been doing much of the same, going to the Y, hiking, cycling, playing games with groups, socializing, and cooking. There’s a class at the Y called shapes. It’s a combination of power yoga, Pilates, and barre. It was a love-hate relationship at first, because it’s quite tough. I’ve tried almost all of the classes at the Y and this is the only one that made my muscles sore afterwards. It’s getting easier. Here are a few pics from some of my activities…

I follow a guy on Facebook named James Bok. He’s Korean and I love his recipes. I recently prepared the bok choy Kimchi. It’s so easy and delicious!

Yesterday, I hiked with a new group to see four waterfalls. It was fun! Love the exercise! Some of them went swimming.

I have a few mini trips planned. I’ll be driving to Cincinnati to visit my brother and his wife in early September. And I’ll be driving 4 hours to Charleston where I’ll spend two nights and then I’ll spend one night in Charlotte, North Carolina on the way back. I haven’t been to Charleston for 14 years and Charlotte for 22 years. In mid-october, I’ll spend one night in Blowing Rock, North Carolina and then one night in the Smokies. Summer is winding down, and I’m looking forward to Autumn, it’s my favorite season!
Lovely pictures and wonderful activities 🩷🌷

I hiked a portion of the stone mountain trail in northern north carolina. The falls were closed but it was a nice climb away from the heat below. They have a ton of vineyards there my brother and i visited. Great trails everywhere!
