Picking up where I left off from my last post, the rest of my day was spent taking an Uber, which took 50 minutes because of traffic, to the Basilica of Our Lady Guadalupe. It’s an amazing Basilica! There’s an old building and a new one.

I had another Uber pick me up for a 35 minute ride to a restaurant called Primos, located a few minutes from my Airbnb. I had a glass of Chardonnay, a Caesar salad, and a filet (smothered in gravy.. didn’t know it came with that) with potatoes. I couldn’t eat it all so I had them box up the leftovers. It was good, not great. I’ll eat regular Mexican food eventually ☺️

Tomorrow I’m joining an Airbnb experience group to go bike riding around the city for 5 hours.
What a synchronicity! During late 80ies my then Mexican roommate in London brought me a souvenir , a keychain with image of Our Lady of Guadalupe… I’ve moved to and from six countries since then, and it has been 30+, but i still have it ❤

Beautiful Basilica architecture and grounds, dear Sherry. You take a nice picture, too. 😉 Everything looks wonderful, and I wish you much happiness during your time abroad. 🌺
