Saguenay Fjord National Park, Canada

I left Quebec City yesterday morning and originally was going to hike in a national park on the way to Saguenay, where I was spending two nights. But, it was raining so I went directly to the Airbnb. It’s a lovely, peaceful place and the owner lives here. I took a photo from his Airbnb site.

This morning I left early, around 6:30 a.m. and drove to Saguenay Fjord National Park. It’s beautiful!

The little town of L’Anse-Saint-Jean is lovely. I love covered Bridges.

I had lunch in Saguenay.  It was my first time trying the regional specialty of poutine, and it was yummy. I also had tartare.

Tomorrow, I drive a couple of hours to St. Simeon where I will take a ferry over to New Brunswick and then I’ll drive about 4 and 1/2 hours to St. John.
