Lake George, Saratoga Spa State Park and Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, New York

Yesterday I drove from Lake Placid to Lake George, New York. It was lovely, I was pleasantly surprised! That’s what I love about travel, not knowing what to expect and when you arrive somewhere, finding beauty all around.

I saw this guy peering at me (He’s not a real 🐻)

My next stop was Saratoga Spa State Park in New York. I walked over 2 miles, checking out the scenery.

From there, it was only a 10 minute drive to my lodging in the heart of Saratoga Springs. I set off to explore Congress Park and the town of Saratoga Springs.

There are a loads of shops and restaurants here.

Saratoga Springs has plenty of day spas, so I decided to splurge on a 90-minute massage. I really needed one, after being on the road for almost 3 weeks. This is the relaxation room. I’m actually celebrating something that I will divulge in another post.

Today I’m driving to New Paltz, New York.
