If you read my last post, you’ll remember I spent Monday night in Leadville, Colorado. Tuesday morning I drove three hours, with stops for photos, to Crested Butte. Again, the scenery was amazing! When I got to the top of Cottonwood pass, I couldn’t believe the view! At over 12,000 ft, it’s the highest paved crossing of the Continental Divide in the United States. The road was very twisty and at times a little scary.

Once I arrived in Crested Butte, I went for a 4.5 mile hike. It rained on me for about 15 minutes of the hike. Thankfully it wasn’t a soaking rain. The scenery is stunning!

The town is darling! 🤩
