Cycling the Dillon Reservoir loop

Thursday morning after I left Crested Butte, I headed to Dillon to cycle the Dillon Reservoir loop. It’s 18.3 miles with a 1085 ft elevation gain. I rode up Swan Mountain Road, which is about a mile and a half uphill. Since I have an e-bike it wasn’t difficult, just a little scary on the side of the road with cars going by. The sharp curvy downhill portion was a little scary also. The three huge cups of coffee I had on the way on an empty stomach didn’t help 😬. The scenery was definitely worth it!

That’s a wrap for my three night getaway!
