I was the Tour Guide and Photographer for a wedding with 40 people. It was 5 hours long, but everything went smoothly.
And I photographed my first gay wedding – 2 beautiful ladies.
I attended an annual weeklong Urban Adventures meeting in Portugal and arranged a trip to follow for a few friends. They met me in Lisbon, Portugal, where we saw the sights for a few days before moving on to Seville and Granada, Spain.

My husband and I were able to get away to Florida for a week in December.
As you can see, my year was very busy, filled mostly with photography and growing my business, with a little travel sprinkled in.
Gamla Stan is the oldest of the fourteen islands that comprises Stockholm and my group and I took a 10 minute ferry ride from that Island to the Island of Djurgarden, where the Vasa Ship Museum is located, amongst other sight-seeing places. Here’s an interesting fellow I had my photo taken with…
First, we went to the Taste of Stockholm. Here in Cincinnati there’s an annual event called Taste of Cincinnati, so we had a good idea what this would be like. The first thing we saw was a cooking demonstration on the main stage, shown in the photo below. We passed a Champagne booth, so my friend Richard purchased a small taste for $13. I was trying to conserve money since I was in Europe for an entire month, so I didn’t taste anything while we were there. In fact, I packed my own sandwich for lunch and ate it there. Scandinavia is very expensive, but I had a good time people watching! Continue reading
The Taste of Cincinnati is an annual tradition held Memorial Day weekend in downtown Cincinnati by The Downtown Council and the Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Association. The first event was in 1979 with 5,000 in attendance and has grown to over 500,000! Not only is it the nation’s longest running culinary arts festival, but also one of the largest street festivals!
More than 40 fine restaurants serve up samples of their delicious menu items. Taste of Cincinnati is also a music festival, with continuous live entertainment featuring local and national recording stars performing on multiple stages throughout the event.
Yesterday was a great day for it. The weather was in the 70’s and sunny! Here are some of my shots…
