I finally made it out to take photos of a local band called Johnny Fink and the Intrusion last night at the Mansion Hill Tavern in Newport, Kentucky. If you like Blues music, you’ll love them! When they first started playing I couldn’t help but dance!

Feeling like Cinderella with less than an hour or two left, our day at Put-in-Bay was going to end at 9:30pm (our Jet Express ferry return time) so we knew we had to squeeze out every bit of fun we could in the time remaining. Walking down the street, the sound of a musician belting out a foot tapping tune from an outdoor lakeside venue, led us to take a rest and listen for a while.
The colorful umbrellas and people up ahead were incentive enough for me!
While my friends relaxed, I did my thing…take photographs.
I recently had a photo shoot assignment for iSPYCincy (now known as “Cincinnati Refined”) at Little Nashville Newport in Kentucky. The establishment is fairly new and the Band that night was Aly’ Ann. I didn’t take my tripod, but still managed to capture a few good shots of the lead singers. I’ve been to the “real” Nashville and this was the next best thing!
